POTATO APPLE PIE
Separate 4 eggs. Mix 500 g of FRIWEIKA dough for Quarkkeulchen (small pancakes made of curd) with the 4 yolks, 2 table spoons with sugar and 100 g of soft butter or margarine. Add 100 g of flour and 2 teaspoons of baking powder. Beat the egg whites until whipped well and fold carefully into the dough. Grease well a large spring form or apply baking paper. Fill in the dough. Apply layers with apple slices, almonds or raisins as you like and bake in the oven for 50-60 minutes at 160°C until the cake edge has turned golden brown.
Option: Put the dough on a baking sheet that is greased or covered by baking paper and apply fruit layers (cherries, apricots, apples). Bake for 40-50 minutes.
